What travelers say:
I recently returned to this restaurant after a year or so and found it to be as good as I remembered. It's a small, pleasant restaurant on the north-west edge of the CBD,where they serve very nicely-prepared traditional Thai dishes such as Pad Thai with big prawns, not the tiny, almost invisible ones you often get. One of my companions said that the Laab Gai was 'the best he'd ever had' and the Lab Pia was also very nice. The roti was good - not too thick and a bit crispy. There were quite a few vegetarian dishes available and you could easily have a full vegetarian meal with a range of dishes. Staff were friendly and helpful. The price was great for the quality. We paid $30 each which included a couple of soft drinks, two entrees, six mains with rice and roti, and 5 desserts. You can also get take-away. Parking was easy - you could virtually park at the front of the restaurant and there is a tram (Tram 57) going past the door. This restaurant is going to become one of my favourites.
